　　In addition, fur and leather are being replaced by alternatives. Humans have been making clothes with fabrics derived from plants such as cotton and linen since the advent of civilization. In recent decades, man-made materials are widely used in the clothing industry for high color retention and durability as compared to their natural fiber counterparts.
