Recently，an increasingly growing number of juvenile delinquency has led to a widespread discussion. Violence on media and unstability in families are two primary factors leading to adolescents’ criminal tendency, both of which will be elaborated in detail and be followed by some effective remedies respectively.

Excessive exposure to media violence plays a major role in the increase of teenager crime. There is no doubt that the violence shots are prevalent in many films and TV programs, which mislead the young people the most. They are curious, immature and na?ve, and can be addicted with and indulged in fantasy hero’s criminal behavior after watching action films in real situations. Actually, these teenagers are misguided by their heroes. In this case, the government should set a rating and censorship system in order to control the amount of violence, threat and horror on screen.

Unstable family life should also be response for juvenile delinquency. Because more parents are now either divorced or separated in current society, their children tend to grow up in single-parent families, which means they usually lack love and supervision from parents. In this situation, they are more likely to behave in illegal ways as they eagerly want to be cared for. To tackle this worrying issue, parents should pay more attention to their children even if they cannot live with them, as children’s instinct is to love and reply on their parents.
